Our Mission
The mission of the Joy in the Mourning Center is to provide programs and people to help individuals and families cope with the different losses of life and return to the joy of living.
The organization is grounded in values which include:

Our goal is to welcome and help people, regardless of race, nationality, religious background, lifestyle, or financial means to cope with the different losses of life and return to the joy of living. We want to help people learn to cope with their losses in healthy ways.
“Joy in the Mourning”® Center for Life Losses is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2002, as a place where people can receive help and support to Return to the Joy of Living. The Center is funded through the generosity of individuals and businesses that believe in and support our mission.
